Tiny Love

Ever since Kenya, from Unique Designs, saw my pink and black cake... she was in love! She sent me the sweetest email about it, and blogged about it too.

Tuesday was her birthday and to celebrate I created a mini version of the "Kenya" cake. You can read her post about it on the Unique Designs Blog. Happy Birthday Kenya! Thanks for the love!!!

Tea for Two... a two year old!

I love these tiny cakes. They were made for a little princess tea party. The center cake was for the birthday princess and each little princess guest had her own cake. Aren't they cute! It was such an adorable party. I was happy to be a part of it!

I can't believe it!

Big news... Kerry Vincent is now a judge for Let's Eat Cake! Honestly, I didn't think I'd have a cake judged by her so early in my cake career! I am completely thrilled and terrified! I know she is an amazing, kind lady, but her work is unbelievably flawless.

I am really excited to meet her. I hope she'll autograph her book for me.

A big thank you!

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who came out to see us at the Bridal Expo last weekend! I loved meeting so many brides and grooms. The feedback I got from you was wonderful. Remember, we strictly limit the number of cakes we do per week, so if you don't want to loose your date, book early. Contact me for your free tasting and consultation. All of our cakes are completely custom. I'm looking forward to making something great especially for you!

Happy Birthday Melissa!

Happy Birthday to Melissa from Masterpiece Weddings! She is the amazing lady behind Let's Eat Cake! The cake competition to benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital. I am so passionate about this event. I have blessed with three healthy boys and I am so thankful! If you are blessed with healthy little ones in your life please donate to help those who are not.

If you are a professional baker, join me in competing. Amateurs are welcome too! Do what you love and help kids too! What could be better? All the proceeds go to St. Jude. Let's make Melissa's Birthday the best ever by raising a lot of money for the kids.

Ok... You probably know I'm not responsible for making this awesome logo. I just copied the post from Unique Designs. This really is such a great cause and I am so excited about it! I can't wait to see and taste all the amazing cakes! What's better than awesome cakes and a good cause? SO... here's the post from Unique Designs.

As I'm sure you all know, Let's Eat Cake, the amazing fundraiser hosted by the equally amazing Melissa Margarita-DiStefano, is February 17th at the Plaza Paramount Hotel. {Wow, that is right around the corner!!} Let's Eat Cake is a cake decorating competition with all proceeds going to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In an effort to make sure we get the word out to everyone (and raise money), we are starting this chain-blog (Ok, not sure if that is correct terminology. But it's like a chain letter so let's just go with it, shall we?)

Here's what we need you to do...Repost this post on your blog and ask others to post it on their blogs. Melissa will donate one dollar to the fundraiser for every blog that this is reposted on. Let's make Melissa Pay! Once you have reposted it, leave a comment letting us know that you posted it along with the url to the blog. It's for a great cause and it will be fun to see how far it will go! So lets do it... Lets blog it forward and raise money for a great cause!!!

Ps: If you haven't already, be sure to check out the Let's Eat Cake Blog!
